Bio

Vianney Mathonnet has over a decade of proven experience in asset management, private equity, and venture capital in Africa. He is a Partner at Modus Capital, focusing on Africa and investing in deep tech startups that address significant challenges. He has been the Executive Director of an Africa-focused Single Family Office since 2016, during which he led multiple private equity M&A transactions and launched the VC division. Vianney Mathonnet now serves as a Non-Executive Director for the Family Office. He has served as an independent director on multiple boards and has operational experience across Africa.
